It's Good Friday and once again we as Christians remember in a special way the mystery of our salvation. We are saved by the Blood of this one man. He is no normal man but rather God become man. The crucifixion is both a horrific event but at the same time a beautiful act of love. Who are we that our God would become one of us and then offer Himself as a sacrifice to wash away our sins? We don't deserve such a friend but Jesus died for each one of us: What a wonderful gift His Love is. Now that we have been saved by the Blood of the Lamb ,we must embrace our own crosses and unite them with His, knowing that death is not the end of the story. Yes, the cross of Christ is terrible to behold, but somehow God has given us new life through it.
